Compensation, Benefits, and Work Options
MDI Group’s approach to total compensation combines performance/merit based benefits for both production and staff positions, combined with the opportunity for employees to share in the financial success of the company. - Sales and Recruiting Compensation. MDI’s comp plans encourage each member of the team to work toward a common goal.
- Work/Life Balance Options. MDI’s work/life balance options include job sharing, telecommuting, flex time, and part-time work.
- Medical Coverage. MDI offers team members the options of a Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) or Preferred-Provider-Organization (PPO) Plan.
- 401(k). MDI offers the opportunity to participate in a 401(k) savings plan.
- Dental Coverage. MDI offers the option of participating in our Dental Plan with the flexibility of choosing any dentist you prefer.
- Vision Coverage. MDI offers a voluntary vision plan; employees and dependents may visit the vision provider of their choice.
- Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA). MDI offer the option to enroll in an FSA regardless of whether you participate in the medical or dental plans.
- Short-Term Disability. MDI offers a short-term disability benefit on a voluntary basis; this benefit will replace 50% of your weekly income (up to a $1,000 maximum), should you become disabled.
- Long-Term Disability. MDI provides this at no cost to the employee, and covers 60% of your salary; all employees are eligible for the plan beginning on their first day of work; the plan takes effect after the employee has missed 90 days of work due to disability.
- Personal Cancer Indemnity Plan. MDI offers you the option to customize a cancer indemnity policy.
- Personal Accident Indemnity Plan. MDI offers policies that are guaranteed renewable and portable.
- Life Insurance. MDI provides this at no cost to the employee.
- Employee Assistance Program (EAP). MDI offers EAP support, to include three confidential face-to-face counseling sessions to cover emotional, personal, legal, or financial assistance.
- Travel Assistance. MDI provides travel assistance for you and your family in the event of a medical emergency, whether traveling for business or pleasure, in a foreign country, or just 100 miles from home.
