Ella Koscik, Chairperson

As Chairperson of the Board, Ella Koscik focuses on the strategic direction of the company she has owned since 1994. With her leadership, MDI Group achieved profitable growth each year despite numerous downturns in the economy, became consistently ranked as a “Best Place to Work,” and garnered more than 50 industry, community and philanthropic awards.

Among her many accolades, Ella was named to the ’40 Under 40’ to watch list by the Atlanta Business Chronicle and ‘Owner of the Year’ by the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO). She also was a Board Member of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) and served on its Supply Chain Subcommittee and the Procurement Subcommittee.

Richey Brownfield, Chief Executive Officer

Richey Brownfield is responsible for achieving the company’s operational objectives. Richey was hired by MDI Group in 1999 as a technical recruiter and has held several operational and sales leadership positions – including Professional Services Delivery Director, Area Vice President and COO­ – before his appointment to CEO in 2012.

Among his many achievements, Richey launched and managed MDI Group’s Contingent Workforce Management division and played an integral role in developing the Managed Service Provider (MSP) programs utilized by multiple Fortune 500 clients. As COO, Richey was instrumental in restructuring the company’s service delivery strategy to focus on local markets where the business operates, diversifying its client base and growing consultant headcount, which strengthened the company’s value proposition and presence in each local market served.

Rick Hayslip, Chief Financial Officer

As MDI Group’s Chief Financial Officer, Rick Hayslip works closely with other executives to maintain the company’s long tradition of profitability and innovative IT service. Rick’s diverse management experience – attained from working at large and small firms – is instrumental in keeping MDI Group both entrepreneurial and structured.

Connie Chiasson, President

Connie Chiasson is responsible for delivery of all the company’s IT Workforce Solutions, which includes a full range of information technology staffing services and contingent labor solutions. She has been in a leadership role with MDI Group since 2005 and has 25 years of sales and business development experience and more than a decade of staffing and recruiting expertise. She is involved in community outreach with many national technology associations and local business groups including the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG).
