MDI in the Community
For the MDI team, focusing on people in our communities, especially those who may need extra help, is perhaps the place we’re most proud of our achievements. In fact, community involvement in each of our branches became so significant that in 2007, we established our own Philanthropy Committee to support and manage the people-focused activities taking place across the entire organization.
In addition to supporting myriad philanthropic efforts at a corporate, branch, and individual level, MDI further highlights its commitment to community by encouraging employees to take an additional paid day off each year to work on behalf of the philanthropy of his/her choice.
Beyond the business, MDI has always been committed to giving back to the community, donating significant amounts of time and resources to organizations whose missions are to genuinely help raise the quality of people’s lives.
