Professional Background in One Sentence: Over 10 years of end user computer support, technical troubleshooting, implementation and operations of infrastructures.
What’s a typical day like for you? Providing quality service of documentation of end users by establishing and enforcing organizational standards. Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information. Maintaining systems by researching and resolving problems while monitoring security and system reliability.
What brought you to MDI Group? I came to MDI by way of a job fair in which Latesha Housley became my recruiter.
What’s the most rewarding part of your job? Being able to interact with all levels of IT and Executive management. I enjoy continuous learning and on the job training.
What IT project have you been involved with most recently? Go Live for Epic EMR (Electronic Medical Records).
What advice do you have for someone just starting out in their IT career – what technologies or skills do you think they need to pursue to prepare for the future? You must have a passion for your selected IT role. To help gain solid experience I would suggest working for an agency. I would suggest being open to gaining certificates and staying informed/updated with future technology.
When not working, where can we expect to find you? What are your interests and hobbies? When not working I enjoy traveling. My hobbies are golfing, archery, photography and sports.
