Compensation, Benefits and Work Options
MDI Group’s approach to total compensation is performance and merit based for both production and staff positions, combined with the opportunity for employees to share in the financial success of the company. - Medical Coverage – We offer you the option of a Health Maintenance Organization (HMO), Preferred-Provider-Organization Plan (PPO) and a Mini-Med Plan.
- 401(k) – We offer you the opportunity to participate in a 401(k) savings plan.
- Dental Coverage – MDI Group offers you the option of participating in our Dental Plan. You have the flexibility of choosing any dentist you prefer.
- Vision Coverage – MDI Group offers a voluntary vision plan. Employees and dependents may visit the vision provider of their choice.
- Flexible Spending Accounts – You have the option to enroll regardless of your participation in the medical or dental plans.
- Short Term Disability – MDI Group offers a short-term disability product on a voluntary basis. This benefit will replace 50% of your weekly income (up to a $1,000 maximum), should you become disabled.
- Long Term Disability – Provided at no cost to the employee, and covers 60% of your salary. All employees are automatically enrolled after 90 days.
Personal Cancer Indemnity Plan – You have the option to customize a policy.
- Personal Accident Indemnity Plan – Policies are guaranteed renewable and portable.
- Life Insurance – Provided at no cost to the employee.
- Employee Assistance Program (EAP) – Three confidential face-to-face counseling sessions are available for Emotional, Personal, Legal, or Financial Assistance.
- Travel Assistance – You and your family can get help in the event of a medical emergency whether traveling for business or pleasure, in a foreign country or just 100 miles from home.
