Atlanta, GA; Dallas, TX; Greenville, SC; Phoenix, AZ - March 21, 2010 | MDI Group, a leading provider of IT workforce solutions to mid-sized to Fortune 500 clients nationwide, announced today the dates of four regional Executive Forums to take place in May 2010 throughout the country.
The invitation-only events are part of a semi-annual series that brings together the top technology players in a forum to discuss today’s most relevant IT topics and trends, including best practices and lessons learned. Says Ella Koscik, CEO of MDI Group, “MDI has focused on providing the very highest quality IT talent for our clients for more than 20 years, so we have a strong understanding of both the landscape and the trends that affect this industry. We feel strongly that bringing these elite groups together to interact in this type of setting really allows us to provide value to them and facilitate thought leadership.”
The spring 2010 Executive Forum series focuses on the implications of a recent trend noted by Forrester Research in which some organizations are seeing a shift from “IT” to what is termed “Business technology,” or “BT.” In this new model, organizations move away from considering and measuring IT capabilities in isolation and shift toward using IT metrics that speak only to the ability of the technology to achieve enterprise-wide business goals.
"I just wanted to send a note to all of you to say thanks for the work you do. I have talked and interviewed with many consulting firms and other businesses. I can truly say that MDI Group is a breath of fresh air. It seemed like you all made a special effort to make me feel part of the team."
